Handcrafted from yellow gold vermeil and 0.66cts of brilliant white diamonds, our Serpent’s Trace Drop Earrings take inspiration from the aluminium Coiled Corset Shaun Leane made for Alexander McQueen. Perfectly graduated vertebrae of articulated yellow gold vermeil pieces of “bone” attach to the ear from the bejewelled jaws of the serpent’s skull - diamond encrusted - transforming this ancient creature into mythical legend. Each piece of “bone’” has it own precise movement, conjuring the hypnotic slither of the serpent as the earrings sway, catching the light. Combining traditional goldsmithing with an eye for the avant-garde, the Serpent silhouette took our Mayfair team of trained goldsmiths four years to perfect. Our spin on evening drop earrings are supple, playful, kinetic jewels that move with the wearer. With a powerful drop of 85mm, they are the ultimate statement in glamour.
